Dinner in the Park : Details

Hey Friends!
Our pursuit of engaging poverty will culminate with a shared project between Flood and SAAM on Sunday, February 14. Here are the specific details:
WHO: Flood & SAAM communities
WHAT: Dinner in the Park
WHEN: Sunday, 2/14, 3 p.m.
WHERE: Grant Park on 21st & C Streets, Downtown Sacramento
HOW: You can participate by doing any of the following:
1. Contact Mike or Kellie Shubert (kidders1 (at ) sbcglobal (dot) net) to help with food or set up. We still need 5-6 people to bring a crock pot of soup and 5 people to bring 4 loaves of bread.
2. Contact Garrett Peterson (916-752-1032) to help pass out invitations on Feb. 6 & 13. They will be meeting at 4 p.m. at Vineyard Church (19th & X Streets) on both days.
3. Donate gift cards to Jamba Juice or Subway in $5 increments (in the Fellowship Hall as soon as this Sunday).
4. Write a Valentine’s Day card to give to someone at the meal (we will put the gift cards inside).
5. Donate cans of soda (in the Fellowship Hall as soon as this Sunday).
6. Bring tarps and blankets on the 14th donate for seating during meal.
NOTE: We will be participating in this project together instead of meeting for our regular Sunday gathering. There will be no Flood gathering on the evening of Sunday, February 14.
